Mission

A small, quiet place for voices that need one.

Not every voice arrives on time. Some need a second try, a safer room, a longer pause. EchoCage exists to make that room.

Speaking live is a privilege we don't always think about. For people with stutters, selective mutism, social anxiety, chronic fatigue, recovery from surgery, ALS, or simply a hard moment — speaking on demand isn't always possible. A recording lets the words come at your own pace, in your own way, and leave only when you're ready.

We built EchoCage because text doesn't carry everything. Voice does. The rise and fall of a sentence, a real laugh, a hesitation, the warmth of someone you know — text flattens all of that. For grandparents across time zones, for parents sending a goodnight message, for anyone who wants to say something that a typed message can't quite hold — a voice is the right shape.

The product itself is intentionally small. Record. Keep. Send. No accounts to create, no feeds to scroll, no likes to count. Your recording stays on your device until you choose to share it, and the link you share goes only to the person you send it to.

If EchoCage helps one person's voice reach one person who needs to hear it, that's the whole point.

— quiet voices, amplified.
